Girl Geeks with Dr Kerstin Eder at Bristol University

On Nov. 18th, 2014 Dr Kerstin Eder, from Bristol University, presented a talk on "Why software engineers are key to energy efficient computing" at the Bristol Girl Geek Dinners, very well attended casual meetup at the Watershed in Bristol, UK.

Dr Kerstin Eder is a Reader in Design Automation and Verification at the University of Bristol. She started the Energy Aware Computing (EACO) initiative at Bristol and chairs the EACO workshop series (http://www.cs.bris.ac.uk/Research/Micro/eaco.jsp). Kerstin is the lead researcher for the machine learning aspects of the MAGEEC project (http://mageec.org/) and the principal investigator at Bristol for the ENTRA project (http://entraproject.eu/).
